The RWC Study Skills Lab has a few workshops coming up to wind down Winter Quarter or gear up for finals. The following workshops are for the week of March 9-12. On Monday, March 9 at 9 a.m., there will be a workshop called “Breaking the Code.” This workshop will allow students to learn how to solve textbook strategies.
The second workshop occurs twice this week, the first on Tuesday, March 10 at 11 a.m. and the second on Wednesday, March 11 at 2 p.m. This workshop is called “On Your Mark Get Set.Write!” This workshop will focus on helping students learn different lecture strategies.
Also on Wednesday March 11 at 8 a.m., there will be a workshop called “Escape The Frying Pan.” This session will help students learn better problem solving strategies.
On Thursday March 12 at 11 a.m., there will be a workshop called “Don’t Sweat the Test.” This workshop will teach students how to prepare for a test. Also on Thursday March 12 at 1 p.m. there will be a workshop called “Time Flies,” helping students to learn time management.
If you are interested in any of these workshops and can’t make the given times, the Study Skills Lab is willing to do workshops individually at a time that is convenient for you.
