Nominations are being sought from students for the Diversity Is Beautiful Award. The purpose of this award is to recognize efforts made by faculty, staff, and administrators who promote the principles of a Just Community. Students are encouraged to submit nominations of a professor, staff member, or administrator who has done one or more of the following:* Shown an awareness of diversity
* Exhibited a sensitivity for people of various cultures
* Helped your growth in the knowledge of diversity
* Recognized preparation for diversity in the workforce
* Helped you personally in the area of diversity
Nomination forms can be obtained from the display on a tripod in the Muntz Lobby. Submission deadline is Tuesday, May 12, and should be submitted to Helen Kegler, Multi Cultural affairs Officer, in Muntz 127. The winner will be announced in May.
