The RWC Writing Center has recently become much busier than any previous quarter, according to Maria Damen, Writing Center Tutor and Adjunct Professor. This is one effect of having over 600 new students enrolled at RWC in the Fall Quarter.Students have also become more aware of the resources available to them at the Writing Center and are using them. Student visits to the Center have increased by 41 percent over last year at this time, Damen said.
As the quarter comes to an end, the Center will be busier than usual, Damen explained. Therefore, planning ahead and scheduling a visit is essential.
To schedule an appointment, contact the Writing Center at (513)745-5733. Walk-ins are always welcome; stopping by on the half hour may get you help if the tutors are finished early with their appointments, Damen said.
Appointments are typically scheduled on the hour for an hour. The Writing Center is located in Muntz Room 112I, at the back of the Computer Concourse.
