Get College Credit For Things You Already Know

RWC students can receive college credit for things they already know. The RWC Office of Outreach and Continuing Education (OCE) offers the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) exam through the Weekend College Program.
By using knowledge acquired through prior experiences to earn qualifying scores on any of the 34 CLEP examinations, students can move on to more advanced classes and receive college credit for general introductory courses.
CLEP exams are given for many different subjects and are accepted at over 2,900 colleges and universities, including RWC. Each CLEP exam can earn students from 3-12 college credits, allowing students to save time and money in their pursuit of higher education.
The CLEP exams are given by appointment in the OCE offices in Room 151 of Muntz Hall. Each exam is ninety minutes long, but students should plan to spend approximately two hours on each examination. The fee for each exam is $72 (MC, Visa, AE, DC Check or Money Order), as well as a non-refundable administration fee of $15 (check or money order only).
For more information or to schedule an appointment for an exam, contact Weekend College at (513) 936-1532 or visit the official CLEP website at www.collegeboard.com/clep.
