The RWC Electronic Media Communications Department held their annual Rite of Spring picnic at Montgomery Park on Saturday, May 22. Students, staff, and family members gathered at the park to share food, win prizes, and recognize the outstanding work done by students this year.Awards were given in the areas of Outstanding Media Production Intern, Outstanding Broadcast Media Graduate, Outstanding Media Criticism & Journalism Graduate, and Outstanding Electronic Media Technology Program Graduate.
Several awards were also given for volunteer services to the department, including participating in the search committee for a new full-time faculty member.
