Fall Carnival, the kickoff event for the year at Raymond Walters College, livened the green between Muntz and SAHB, on October 5. Between 11 a.m and 1:30 p.m. students could enjoy free food and music while gathering information at booths from various student organizations and employers. Fall Carnival offered free hamburgers, hot dogs, salad, beans, and fries. Live music by the Katie Jackson group filled the air with roots rock.
The event offered a way for groups at RWC to get more exposure and recruit members. Every table offered a way for students to join a new group, gather information on the group, and play a game. Fall Carnival is trick or treating for adults.
At the same event, the Fall Job Fair offered various job opportunities from employers like Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and the Marines. It offered different jobs for a diverse campus and had on the spot applications.
This event created for students, faculty, and employees a relaxing and enjoyable environment for all.
