Career Services Offers Jobs Search Tools and Tips

If you are looking for a job, a resume is a good place to start. Resumes are the way your potential boss has to get to know you. It presents your education background, volunteer activities, job experience, skills, and a little glimpse of how you would be as an employee. For those of you who already have a resume and are going for a job interview, some things to keep in mind are to dress professionally, be on time, sit up, have good posture, and speak with confidence to let your interviewer know that you take this job interview seriously.

These tools and more are available five days a week at Career Services Office next to Student Life across from the RWC Bookstore. Career Services offers a free Job Searching Handbook that includes advice on what you need to know as a prospective employee.
