Movies: You Don’t Need to Be a Jackass to Enjoy “Jackass 3D

You didn’t necessarily have to be a jackass to enjoy watching Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, and the gang hurt themselves in the first and second “Jackass” films, and the third film is no different. The “Jackass” crew had their mind set on pushing the limit and hauling it right over the edge from the first “Jackass” to the second “Jackass,” but “Jackass 3D” seems to be a tad bit tamer than the last one. However, just like the last two, the film is funny as hell and brings something for you and your dumb little buddies to laugh about for a few days.

This film marks the ten-year anniversary of the franchise, and for those of you who can’t do the math, the show started back in 2000. “Jackass” begins with a Beavis and Butthead short trying to explain how the 3D works in the film. And to see this put a smile on my face and reminded me that Beavis and Butthead are coming back on MTV to slightly save it from its demonic, soul-sucking ways.

Now one thing you will notice about “Jackass” right away is that it actually makes fairly good use of the 3D, and they make sure that everything, and I mean everything, comes at you.

Director Jeff Tremaine has decided to use some older stunts from the “Jackass” TV show. Also worth mentioning is the fact that “Jackass” member Steve-O was completely sober throughout the entire making of the film.

Overall, it’s hilarious. Even people who aren’t fans of “Jackass” like “Jackass.” It will get you cringing in your seat and peeing yourself with laughter, well maybe not peeing yourself, but you will be laughing, and that is a guarantee.

“Jackass” is quite ridiculous in means of giving your friends high fives or just launching them into the air in a port-a-potty full of different types of feces.

“Jackass” is just really ridiculous, almost too ridiculous for your eyes to behold, almost more ridiculous than the fact that I used the word “Jackass” 16 times in this article.

Oh and P.S. don’t listen to critics about a film like this. Of course they’re going to hate it, but we, the people, know better than they do. We know what we want, and what we want is “Jackass”.in 3D.
