On Saturday, November 13, RWC’s Alumni Coordinating Council is hosting a primer on social media. The session, titled “Using Social Media to Market Your Business,” will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in SAHB 100. The event is open to the public and cost per person is $10.The workshop, which will be led by Kendra Ramirez of Accelerated Business Results, is designed to help businesses identify social media sites and relevant tools, examine social media strategies and components of an effective plan, and share best practices and effective examples.
Ramirez is a nationally recognized social media authority and was a finalist for the 2009 Social Media Innovator of the Year award.
