At RWC, students have the opportunity to learn about study abroad programs in Britain, Costa Rica, and Quebec, get advice on how to pack for international travel, attend culturalogues on Germany, Costa Rica, Quebec, England, and Taiwan, and see international films from Spain, France, Germany, and Great Britain. On Monday, November 15, at 1 p.m., in Room 148 SAHB, Professor Angie Woods will present a culturalogue on Costa Rica, including information on the Costa Rica Study Abroad Program. At 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 18, in SAHB 151, professors Mike Roos and Mark Otten will present a culturalogue on this year’s British Study Abroad program, which will focus on Charles Darwin and the Beatles. This will be followed at 2 p.m. with double feature of two British films: “Creation,” a dramatic portrayal of Charles Darwin’s struggles in writing “The Origin of Species,” and “A Hard Day’s Night,” the classic 60s film about the Beatles. The films will be shown in Muntz 349B.
