Movies: “Unstoppable” Will Stop Your Heart

Over the weekend, an action packed film hit theaters, taking audiences on a heart-wrenching thrill ride throughout the entire movie. “Unstoppable” stars Denzel Washington as Frank Barnes, a veteran train conductor who shows the ropes to a newbie conductor, Will Colson, played by actor Chris Pines. The duo is forced into numerous life or death situations when they have to divert a runaway locomotive carrying shipments of toxic chemicals.

With the runaway train headed straight towards them, they are forced to take action in order to save lives and avoid as much damage as possible. Risking their lives and jobs, Barnes and Colson take matters into their own hands to ensure the safety of others.

This film’s name applies to the “missile” train and all of the damage it could have caused. Critics from different accredited newspapers have compared it to a 1985 film entitled “Runaway Train,” but in my opinion, the 98 minutes are filled with great visuals, sounds, and overall great story line that kept me at the edge of my toes the entire movie.

Taking my word for it won’t let you experience what I did. I highly recommend taking the family to go get the ride of a lifetime; I’ll let you be the judge.
