Need help with your academic plan? The staff in the College Study Skills area can help set you on the right path to success. Unfortunately not many students know about the College Study Skills area; the staff are waiting to help you with time management and organization, setting realistic goals, test preparation, reading texts, taking notes, and problem solving. Do you need a quiet place to study? The Study Skills Lab is a great place to get some homework done or study for that test you have in the next hour.
The Study Skills Lab is located in Muntz Room 112K, all the way in the back of the Computer Concourse. This area is always open, except when class is in session.
If you would like to schedule an appointment, you can now schedule online through Starfish. Just log on to Blackboard, click the “My Advisor” tab, and schedule an appointment through Starfish.
Starfish is a new system, so if you have problems, the Study Skills staff can assist you. You can also call for an appointment. Walk-ins are always welcome.
