When was the last time you felt that rush wearing your school’s colors on a Friday night under the lights? When was the last time you can remember the green grass or turf under your feet and all eyes on you? All over the country, the association known as Alumni Football USA is giving former players the opportunity to relive those feelings, one more time in a game against their rivals.
Founded by former teacher Bob Cazet, Alumni Football USA offers unique opportunities for both players and their former schools. Cazet noticed that when a school’s budget began to take hits, the athletics were usually one of the first things to go. From this, he developed Alumni Football USA, which benefits the schools and the alumni players. Alumni Football USA has raised thousands of dollars for local high schools around the country.
Now, it’s Cincinnati’s turn. Alumni Football USA is assembling teams so former high school football players have the opportunity to play one last full contact game against their old rivals. This is a wonderful opportunity for players, schools, and the whole community, so don’t pass it up!
