RWC Assistant Professor Dr. Jane Goecke and second-year Veterinary Technology students participated in the 6th Annual Matt Haverkamp 5K Race at Spring Grove Cemetery on April 17. The event raises funds to help local law enforcement agencies with the purchase of dogs for K9 units. To date, twelve dogs have been added to local agencies, including Blue Ash.
Student volunteers worked a booth to distribute information about pet care and the veterinary technology program. Dr. Goecke and student Carisa Fraser also won places in their age divisions.
