The UC Bookstores and Follett Higher Education Group have conjoined to bring students a new way to read their textbooks. Cafescribe offers students the ability to access their textbooks online, or in offline formats from web-enabled devices such as smart phones or iPads.
Faculty can customize the book to the specific needs of the class by adding notes and links for the students’ benefits, right within the text. The cost for this is 40-60 percent cheaper than the cost of a new textbook as well.
Faculty wanting to know more about the program can attend a presentation on Thursday, October 13 at 1:30 p.m. in the TUC Theater.
