The UC Blue Ash Daycare Center will be closing in June, 2012, UCBA Dean Cady Short-Thompson stated at the recent Dish with the Dean, on October 17.
“The Daycare Center is only used by 38 students,” the Dean said, “and the space can be transformed into three much-needed classroom spaces.” With semesters, she added, the College will become even more space-crunched. “The Daycare Center’s staff and parents have had an advance notice of the closing,” she continued, giving the parents time to figure out another solution for the care of their children.
She added that closing the center was a hard decision, but hopefully the outcome will be good for the College.
