On Sunday October 4, UC Blue Ash Veterinary Technology Professor Dr. Jane Goecke and four sophomore students volunteered with the United Pet Fund during Pet Health Day. Pet Health Days have volunteers visit under-served areas, such as Over the Rhine.
The UCBA volunteers, along with many other volunteers, visited the St. Francis Seraph Church in Over the Rhine. Altogether they saw 94 dogs and 17 cats, giving them physical exams and needed vaccinations, such as worming and flea preventative vaccines.
