College Offering Variety of Technology Workshops

If you feel like you’re struggling with using a computer or having difficulty with certain programs, UC Blue Ash offers student workshops that help develop computer skills.

Running these workshops is UCBA Information Technology Analyst Ranjoo Shanbhag. If you ever find yourself needing help when it comes to technology, feel free to stop by Shanbhag’s office, which is located in Room 117c, within the Library in Muntz Hall.

Students can submit requests to organize free workshops on computer software topics that they are having difficulty with. You can write down the specific technology subject you need help with and leave it in the suggestion box outside of her office by the printer.

In the month of October, workshops covered basic computer skills, Blackboard, UConnect email, and PDF files.

Many students young and old attend these workshops, Shanbhag says. There is no reason to have shame or to be embarrassed if you feel your computer skills aren’t up to par, she added.

All workshops are free.
