The UCBA Vet Tech program and the Student Chapter of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (SCNAVTA) is asking for help from students, faculty, and staff at UCBA.
The Vet Tech program and SCNAVTA are getting ready for their annual “Santa Paws” program, which will help two local animal shelters this holiday season.
The group is asking for donations to keep the shelters running and to keep getting animals into good homes. Donation bins can be found in the SAHB first floor lobby or in Muntz across from the OneStop by the ATM machines.
Here are some specific items they are asking people to donate: paper towels, bathroom tissue, bleach, laundry detergent, dish detergents, dryer sheets, garbage bags (13 and 55 gallon), all-purpose cleaners, Isopropyl alcohol, distilled water, recycled newspapers, pet food (canned or dry), gently used towels/blankets, cat litter, disposable food trays/bowls, copy paper, sharpie markers and Ziploc bags.
Students and faculty can also make money donations that should be brought directly to the Vet Tech building.
