A question that everyone ponders at some point in the day is this: what am I going to eat? For food lovers, like me, it can’t just be anything. It has to be filled with flavor it; has to be filled with mouthwatering delight.
It’s getting warm outside and the urge for something that was smoked, grilled over a flame and doused in heavenly tangy barbeque sauce was an urge I couldn’t resist. There is no holiday coming soon enough that will require a barbeque, so I had to venture on the web and find a restaurant that served this awesome food. In my search, I came up with City Barbeque. Located in Hyde Park plaza between Orange Leaf and Starbucks.
The décor, with wooden table and floors, has lots of posters and animal heads on the walls. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with mild barbeque sauce and beans with macaroni and cheese. From the first bite I was in heaven, the tangy sauce was doing the tango on my tongue. And the macaroni and cheese and beans tasted just the way your grandma would have made them. The prices were fair because the portions where really big, my sandwich only cost me three dollars and with the sides all together it came up to eight. It was an experience I urge everyone who’s been craving a little barbeque to take a chance on.
