One of the students who travelled to Cleveland, Ohio for this year’s Ohio Society of Radiologic Technologist (OSRT) annual meeting on April 18-22 was awarded third place in the poster competition.
Ashlee Knollman, a Radiologic Technologist student at UCBA entered the poster competition at the OSRT meeting this year. All of her hard work in preparing for this year’s meeting paid off when it was announced that she had won third place.
The title of Knollman’s work is “Radiation: An overdose that lasts a lifetime.” Knollman won the poster category that the OSRT Board of Trustees named after Sara J. Bauers in 1983.
This year marked the 72nd annual meeting of the OSRT and there were a total of 526 attendees from states such as Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, West Virginia, Illinois, and Connecticut.
It is exciting that Knollman placed third during the OSRT annual meeting because there were so many respectable Radiologic Technologists present. All of Ashlee Knollman’s professors and classmates are extremely happy for her achievements during the Ohio Society of Radiologic Technologists 2012 Annual Meeting.
