Dean Cady Short-Thompson has proposed a plan to encourage students to take care of registration as soon as possible.
She is going to choose one student that takes advantage of early registration and pay for the Spring Semester tuition of that student.
The Dean has discovered a pattern of students registering late, which does not allow them to take all the classes that they need for their majors.
Early registration for Spring Semester of 2013 will begin soon. The staff of the UCBA Enrollment Services Office are determined to get students to register early.
The early registration priority dates are assigned to students who have registered for UC classes within the last academic year.
The Dean’s offer is a win, win situation: students can get the classes they need, get their registration out of the way, and have a chance to have a semester’s tuition paid for.
