UCBA student Antonio Murphy is a freshman wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bearcats football team and is one of the few student-athletes on this campus.
He is 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 220 pounds, and is from Detroit, Michigan.
Antonio works out three times daily, at 1 a.m., 8 a.m., and 9 p.m. He lives by the quote, “If you want to be successful as bad as you want to breathe, then you will be successful.”
His goal is to follow in the footsteps of his brother, Antwan Peek, and play in the National Football League. He loves playing for the Bearcats and says the coaches are great and much focused on making the players better men, both on and off the field.
Last year Antonio started an organization called Take Nothing 4 Granted to help encourage and help others regain their focus and to push for their dreams. He speaks at high schools throughout the Cincinnati area.
Academically, Antonio takes 13 credit-hours on main campus and five here at UCBA. He enjoys the experience he has had at our campus because of the small class sizes and because he has more personal time speaking to his professors.
