As Christmas time approaches, the focus of our society tends to take a dramatic shift. More visits to the mall occur, and more time is spent online shopping.
This year, there are many new items that are being added to Christmas lists. For Christmas of 2012, top items include the Apple iPhone 5, Apple iPad Mini, HP EliteBook, and the Samsung and Panasonic 3D televisions.
In addition, popular video games such as “Halo 4,” “Call of Duty Black Ops 2,” “NBA 2K13,” and “NCAA 2013” are amongst the top sellers for the holiday season.
Unsurprisingly, Black Friday was definitely the best day to purchase many of these items. This year, sales reached up to 40 percent off on some of these goods.
As for clothing and apparel, retail companies such as Pacsun, Urban Outfitters, American Eagle, Victoria Secret, Forever 21, and Dick’s Sporting Goods are expected to be the major shopping venues.
