Ryana Wright received a very nice gift over the holidays. As an early registrant at UCBA for Spring Semester, she was selected as the winner of a raffle held by the college, and her prize was free tuition for the semester.
Students at UCBA who registered for spring classes by December 3 were eligible for the drawing. More than 3,300 students registered in time, and Wright, a graduate of North College Hill High School working toward a degree in Dental Hygiene, was the lucky winner.
“I am so happy and thankful I was chosen for this opportunity,” she said. “I want to thank Dean Short-Thompson and everyone at the college for this incredible gift.”
The free tuition covers all instructional costs for the semester and is valued at just under $2,000.
This is the second semester in a row that UC Blue Ash has offered the free tuition raffle. “This is a great way to motivate our students to register early for their classes to help ensure they get the schedules they desire,” said UCBA Dean Dr. Cady Short-Thompson. “It’s also a nice way to give back to our students; we are very proud of the bright and ambitious students who choose UC Blue Ash College as a path to pursue their dreams.”
