On February 20, from 3-6 p.m. in Muntz Hall Room 357, the UCBA Film Club will be getting together to watch “Conviction.”
The film is the story of two children, Betty Anne Waters (Hilary Swank) and her brother Kenny (Sam Rockwell), who have a rough childhood that results in Kenny being a bit of troublemaker
He ends up being convicted of a murder that he says he didn’t commit. Betty Anne believes him and decides to go to school to become a lawyer so she can try to prove his innocence.
The film is free and everyone is welcome to attend. For more information contact contact professors Jody Ballah (ballahjy@uc.edu) or Matt Bennett (bennetrd@uc.edu).
