UCBA’s History Club held their first meeting and movie screening of the new semester on Wednesday, January 23. Fifteen students gathered in Muntz 357 to discuss upcoming History Club events and the film “Ride with the Devil.”
The film focused on the guerilla fighting along the Kansas-Missouri border during the American Civil War and was the first film played in the Club’s Civil War film series.
Members of the History Club were pleased with the turnout and look forward to their next meeting, on February 13, which will feature a viewing and discussion of the film “Glory.”
The event is also being co-sponsored with the Student Life Office and will help celebrate Black History Month. Everyone is welcome.
