Is On-Line Dating Dangerous?

We all have had that random person who pops up in our inbox, whether it’s on Facebook or Twitter, and sometimes we find them attractive.
But what if that random person isn’t who he or she says she is? With the new hit TV show “Catfish,” Nev Schulman makes a documentary of on-line relationships and makes it possible for people to meet their on-line soul mate. Some people aren’t happy with the end results.
As we’ve all heard and seen in the media, Internet dating can potentially make you aggressively angry because you’ve been lied to or, as in Manti Te’o’s case, you could end up heartbroken.
You never know who is behind a computer screen, and that’s where the concept of danger comes into play. In my opinion, it can be dangerous.
With people making fake profiles and how easy it is to “Google” a few photos and post them as you, online dating is very risqué.
So be careful on social networks, because you never know who just “liked” your picture. You don’t want to be the next to get catfished
