UC to Hold Veterans Employment Workshop March 2

On Saturday, March 2, UC will hold a Veterans Federal Employment/Military Skills to Civilian Skills Translation workshop. The workshop will be held from 10 a.m. -5 p.m.on UC’s Clifton campus at the Career Development Center on the 1st Floor of the University Pavilion.
The schedule for the workshop is as follows:
10-10:15 a.m.-Introductions and brief PowerPoint presentation by Buck Clay.
10:15 a.m.-4 p.m.-Resume Review and Assistance with Attorney and Army Lieutenant Colonel, Ryan Rhuele; Therapist and Heroes’ Fund Board Member, Katie Hoffman; Senior Brand Manager of Pfizer Europe, Erin Federman; and Department of Labor Chicago Office Representative, Siggy Lethby (with more pending).
Lunch will be catered on site.
4-5 p.m. Resume review, workshop, and questions.
A majority of the informational material will come from Officer Lethby, who will provide veterans with the correct method of achieving employment. R.S.V.P. is recommended for meal planning purposes. However, walk-ins will be accepted.
