UCBA’s new Bleecker Street Café will open on May 6, 2013, and feature a menu straight from a New York City-style deli and café, including pizza, signature sandwiches and artisan bread.
Originally scheduled for March 25, the café’s opening date was pushed back a little to allow for adequate time to train personnel on the new menu and equipment, and to make sure the new space is completely ready to provide new food options and quality service, according to College Communications Director Pete Gemmer.
The name comes from the popular Bleecker Street restaurant/entertainment section in Greenwich Village.
