Fashion: The Latest in What’s Cool for College

If you pay attention, you’ll see the current fashion trends on the runway-like the gray trend, as seen at 3.1 Phillip Lim; color-blocking, as seen at Proenza Schouler; green, as seen at Rag & Bone; and leather, as seen at Donna Karan.
But the trends we see at college tell a different story.
According to Seventeen.com, to be campus cool is to follow these four basic trends:
• Clueless Style, which is basically what you call preppy, including crisp collared shirts and patterned minis.
• Sporty Cute, which includes sneakers and white pants.
• Music Festival Maven, which includes flowery blouses and wide brim hats.
• Fierce, which includes comic inspired accessories and flirty skirts.
Students at colleges like New York University as well as Ohio State University are leading these trends.
When it comes to top trends for the guys, according to Esquire.com, it’s all about Valspar jackets and colored cords in yellow, green, and red.  The fashion runways are hot with yellow and light colored coats.
