Every other week or so I will be doing a short review of a new or classic movie along with my own personal rating system of Gotta See It, Ehh It’s Ok, Don’t See It. This week the movie is “Insidious: Chapter 2.”
Starring Patrick Wilson (“Watchmen,” “The Conjuring”) and Rose Byrne (“X-Men: First Class,” “Get Him To The Greek”) “Insidious: Chapter 2” centers around the haunted Lambert family only weeks after the events of the first movie.
In a new house with a fresh start, the Lamberts assume they are safe from the paranormal entities that obsess over their youngest son Dalton. Only too soon do they realize that the evil forces have followed them, and that they are in grave danger.
With a well written storyline, a good combination of jump scares and long suspense scenes, a score that will give you goosebumps, and Patrick Wilson being the best horror actor in Hollywood, “Insidious 2” has all the keys to be one of the best horror movies of the year.
You Gotta See It.
