Crosstown Shoot-out Set for December 14

At 8 p.m. on December 14, the University of Cincinnati Men’s Basketball team will be facing off against rivals Xavier University at the Cintas Center in the Crosstown Classic, formerly known as the Crosstown Shootout.
UC and Xavier will be making their returns to their respective home courts after a mishap caused the traditional event to be relocated to a neutral site at US Bank Arena last year.  UC currently leads the all time series 46-26 against Xavier. 
UC will be led by Senior All-American Captain Sean Kilpatrick, who averages 19.2 points per game (ppg). 
Xavier’s leading scorer is sophomore Semaj Christon, who is a Cincinnati native averaging 16.4 PPG.  Jay Bilas of ESPN once commented, “Cincinnati and Xavier have created a rivalry that is unparalled when it comes to outright passion and civic division.”
