Movies: New “Best Man” a Gift for the Holidays

The new 2013 movie release The Best Man Holiday, a sequel to the 1999 film The Best Man, is a heartfelt movie.
After 14 years, director Malcolm D. Lee has made a smash hit as a sequel. Starring Monica Calhoun, Morris Chestnut, Taye Diggs, Sanaa Lathan, Regina Hall, Harold Perrineau, Terrence Howard, Nia Long, and Melissa DeSousa, the new release catches the heart of many of its viewers.
The movie shows that, no matter how much time passes by, real friendships can still remain strong. Each character has a touching story. Things may look kept up on the outside, but on the inside things could be crumbling.
The movie picks up right where it left off in the first movie. Lance (Morris Chestnut) is still upset with his best man, but something life changing happens so that their differences have to be set aside.
This Christmas is the Christmas for everyone to remember, because they are going to see that they all need each other more than ever. Deepest secrets are revealed, and new relationships are aroused.
If you have not seen this movie, I highly suggest that you do before it leaves the theaters. It is touching but at the same time hilarious. I have seen it twice and would love to see it for a third time.
It gets five stars from me.
