The UCBA Department of English and Communication has announced guidelines for the annual UC Writing Contest.
The contest is open to all students who have been enrolled in a Preparatory, English Composition or Intermediate Composition course from Spring 2014 through Spring 2015.
All entries must have a completed application cover sheet signed by the English composition instructor and an unmarked copy of the essay.
Entries may be submitted to your instructor at anytime of the year but no later than January 15, 2015.

The contest will award a $200 cash prize for first place, $150 for second place, and $100 for third place.
