Do you ride English or Western? Do you want to join the University of Cincinnati equestrian team? Did you even know we had an equestrian team? Well, we do, and they are looking for new members. You don’t even have to have your own horse.The UC equestrian team competes in the Inter-Collegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA). The show season lasts from October to April. At these shows you are judged solely on your equitation, which means that you are judged on your position and technique when you ride. The IHSA has many different divisions from beginner walk trot to open. So whether you have never seen a horse up close or you have been riding for years, you can join the team.
