Fashion: Rocking it “Obama Style

We all saw November 4 turn into a day of change. Some people are angry, and some are overjoyed with the results of the election. There are some who did not care, but most really did. For those who really did care, a few rocked the fashion that I like to call the “Obama Style.” Mrs. Diane Rogers, who works in the RWC Student Services office, rocked her “Obama Style” on November 5.

Why? “Because I am proud,” she explained.

She, along with a lot of other people, could not wait to sport this style, and she was one of many Obama supporters on campus, though one of the few who chose to show their Obama spirit in their clothing style.

Mrs. Sylvia Johnson-Smith, whom we see around the campus cleaning up shop, is another proud rocker of the “Obama Style.” The “Yes We Can” is boldly written across her shirt, and she is a proud representer. She, along with Mrs. Rogers, took pride in having their pictures taken, and they did not mind being the few “Rocking it Obama Style.”

So if you are a true prideful person of the change that has already taken place, continue on to rock it Obama Style. This is a fashion that I believe many can say will never go out of style! Rock on!
