The RWC Writing Lab will continue to provide opportunities for students to review their writing skills this summer. If you are not very confident in your ability to write or you just want to see what your writing level is, you can come to the free Summer Writing Lab Workshops being held in July and August. There will be six of these workshops focusing on punctuation, organizational strategies, and Internet research.
The first week will see two workshops, one on Wednesday, July 11 (Punctuation Review) and Thursday, July 12, (Organizational Strategies). The following week there will be only one workshop on Wednesday, July 18 on punctuation review again.
The third week will have one on Thursday, July 26, on organizational strategies again. The final two workshops will be on research and the Internet, with these dates being Wednesday, August 8, and Monday, August 13.
All workshops will be held 1-3 p.m. in Room 207, except for the researching workshops that will be held in the Computer Lab. Register for these by calling 745-5733 and remember that all workshops are free services for RWC students.
The new summer hours for the Writing Lab will be 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Fridays. These hours apply to June 18 through the end of August.
