RWC will be offering a Majors Fair on Wednesday, January 26, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The Fair will encourage students to choose a major. The goal is to increase information about the major and what is required. Furthermore, it will allow students to meet faculty and other students in this major
Representatives at the Fair will also share realistic expectations with the students on future job opportunities and the reward of being in a particular field.
Benefits of attending the Fair include getting a program outline, skills needed for the major, subjects to be studied in the major, career titles, continuing education opportunities, and volunteer/internship information.
The Fair also offers information on transferring to and from UC, extra credit passport coupons, realistic salaries, other majors/programs relating to your major, and a typical day in a career.
