On Saturday November 18, RWC is bringing contemporary jazz artist Amikaeyla to town to perform at the campus theater in Muntz hall. Amikaeyla is an award winning jazz/world music artist who has performed for audiences since she was only four. Mike Joyce, from the Washington Post recollects, “Hovering over the earthy groove is a colorful weave of sounds and singer Amikaeyla Gaston’s sinuous voice, sultry and spirited by turns.”
