If you have visited the RWC web site lately at http://www.rwc.uc.edu, you may have noticed that it is outdated and difficult to navigate. This won’t be a problem for long, however, as the College will launch a new and much improved website on February 26.Eric Jeschke, a web design intern, has been working on the new site since August. The new site focuses on what users want and who the users are. The graphics are in line with the UC web site, and the site is easy to use.
The main objectives of the new site are to create a place where current and prospective students, faculty, and community visitors can find what they need. The site will also assist faculty members who wish to have a website connected to the RWC main page.
The quality of the pages is much improved on the new site. There are more graphics and photographs, and long pages of text are avoided.
The site will also load quickly and be easy to navigate. Frequent updates will help keep the site current, and contact information is provided on each page, making it easy to call, e-mail, fax, or write RWC.
The new RWC website is a much needed improvement over the old one. College Relations, with much help from web design interns, has succeeded in creating a useful sight for all members of the RWC community.
