Hmmm. In my world would I have religion? Possibly. But people I might have to leave out. Since this is my glorious time to rant, I’m choosing the topic of religion, mainly Christianity. Let me be more specific, the people in Christianity.
It’s not everyone but most of them who keep me entertained and laughing as they whip out their hidden Bibles from their pockets to explain to me how my opinion is wrong.
Yes, I used the word opinion, because in reality, that’s all religion is. Before you huff and puff at me, make sure you realize that there is a difference in believing and knowing. And because some Christians don’t understand this, I hate them.
To tell me that you believe something is fine. To tell me that you know something about God or anything in the Bible is down right moronic. And to stand there and judge based on what I or others believe is something entirely different.
The mentality of these people amazes me and makes me wonder: have these people actually sat down and chatted with God over a delicious lunch, and been presented with information nobody else has? Well, I guess it makes sense. I suppose I enjoy too much Cajun in my diet.
My whole point behind this rant is that to be a part of a religion is fine. But to judge others and claim that you are God’s best friend is not. Just live the life God has given you and don’t try to let God run it for you, because he won’t. He gave it to you for a reason.
Now if you don’t believe in God, well, it’s a dry, dry heat. Just kidding.
