Library fully functional in temporary location

The Raymond Walters College Library is still in the west wing of Muntz Hall, but over Spring Break it was moved across the construction hall from where it used to be. Sixteen movers with Ray Hamilton Company were employed to cart furniture and library holdings across the hall. There is no official room number for the temporary library space, so just travel down the west wing hallway and look on your left until you see it. All the same services as before are still being provided, and Librarian Debra Oswald pointed out the fact that there is now additional study space with group study rooms available.

About seventy-five percent of the general collection is on the temporary shelves and there are still computers and a newspaper/magazine reading area.

But don’t get too accustomed to this because it’s only for Spring Quarter and the Library will be moving back to its original location during the week of June 11 through the 15. They will reopen into their newly remodeled location on June 18.
