Zoo Babies now in 17th year

It’s summer and the Cincinnati Zoo will be showing off its babies from May 24 to June 29. Zoo Babies is presented by Downy and Pampers. This is the 17th annual presentation of Zoo Babies at the Cincinnati Zoo.

A lot of people travel to the Cincinnati Zoo every year to see these Babies, and it is well worth the trip. It is a great experience for both young and old.

The Zoo has a variety of programs going on right now. For the young kids, they will be doing events on all the weekends during Zoo Babies. Take your kids on different weekends to meet everyone from Scooby Doo and Power Puff Girls to Spiderman and Wolverine.

And for those of you just young at heart, this also means the animal shows like Cheetah Encounter are starting up. Check the Zoo website for specific times and dates for all events during Zoo Babies and the rest of the summer.

You have several options when going to the Zoo. You can buy a one day admission at the Zoo. It is $11.50 for adults, $9.00 for seniors (62 and over), $6 for children (2-12) and children under 2 are free. Parking is $6.50.

Or even better, join the Zoo and get a membership. Memberships include admission to the Festival of Lights that they put on in the winter. As a full-time college student, you can get a membership for $36. And you will be helping the Zoo sponsor their many programs.
