New Pre-Communication program

A new Pre-Communication program will offer RWC students the opportunity to earn up to 42 credits in Communication during Spring Quarter. By combining existing Communication credit courses with the three Arts and Sciences Communication courses below, a student can earn up to 42 credits. These credits can be also transferred to UC’s McMicken College of Arts and Sciences. The three courses are the following:Introduction to Organizational Communication (15COMM308828)
An introduction to communication’s role in shaping an organization internally. This class will meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 3-3:50 p.m. No prerequisite.

Introduction to Rhetorical Theory (15COMM306828)
This class provides an overview of theoretical foundations of rhetorical studies, with a primary emphasis on public discourse. This class will meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 4-4:50 p.m. No prerequisite.

Introduction to Communication Theory (15COMM307828)
This class provides a scientific perspective and overview of theoretical foundations of human communication.
