The UC Blue Ash eMedia program awarded its 200th student performance package to Melissa Jackson. Performance package certificate programs are designed to help boost a student’s academic career and resume.
eMedia offers several different types of performance packages, such as photo production, film studies, and audio production, among others.
Jackson took photo production classes such as Photographic Principles and Lighting, Digital Photography, and Special Topics in Photography, earning all A’s in each class.
“It makes me feel like I am doing the right thing to help better myself,” Jackson said. “Having extra work to show in my portfolio and having to say that I received this performance package in addition to the degree will give me an advantage when applying and interviewing for potential jobs.”
Performance packages are open to all eMedia students at no cost, and students will also receive credit for them too. In order to apply for a performance package, a student must have already taken three or four eMedia classes. Students must maintain a C or better in each class and could finish the program within one year.
