Music Review: Don’t reject the Rejects’ latest

One of the most anticipated albums of the year is “When the World Falls Down,” by The All American Rejects (bandmembers: Tyson Ritter, vocals and bass; Nick Wheeler, guitars; Mike Kennerty, Guitars; Chris Gaylor, Drums). I was pleasantly surprised with this album. I bought their last album, “Move Along,” and I wasn’t very impressed. But “When the World Falls Down” is an album for anyone.

In their song “Damn Girl,” Tyson Ritter sings about a girl who cries to him while she’s out kissing other guys. And he tells her to dry her eyes because she took his heart and threw it aside. Their hit “Gives You Hell” is a fun song. Here he wants the other girl to know that every time she sees him, he hopes it gives her hell knowing what she’s missed out on.

The CD is rich with fun beats and harmonic vocals and chords. When you need to smile, just pop in this CD and switch to song #4, “Gives You Hell,” for a nice pick me up.

So I suggest if you’re looking for a good album to purchase, this is one you should definitely invest in. The band writes their own music and lyrics, which is awesome and not always common with music these days. “When the World Comes Down” is worth your money.
