Are you a Foreign Language major? What about somebody who’s interested in learning more about the Spanish language? Professor Angela Woods and the RWC Department of Foreign Languages will offer a service learning course opportunity this spring.There will be an option for 1-3 credit hours, each with a set level of responsibilities and requirements to be completed. This course will allow students the chance to immerse themselves in an environment similar to that of a study abroad course. Students will constantly be involved with the Spanish-Speaking community in groups like a Latino PTA in a Spanish immersion school and events at places like Sharon Woods. Being involved in a group like this will also be a good thing for employers to see, Professor Woods said, especially in the business world.
