Suggestion for Lost and Found

[Concerning the Lost and Found problem (Activist issue 1/23/01)] I suggest you put the articles out for rummage sale, in table in the hall. At my gymnasium, once a year the staff sorts the articles by value, $4.00, $3.00, $1.00, .50, and a money box (locked and chained to the wall in your case) is set out. Money goes to a charity of your choice (security guards maybe)? Remnants go to local dustbin or Goodwill, etc.Mary Jordan
