The library in Muntz hall was closed Wednesday, January 10 due to safety concerns. While construction workers welded pipes and spread tar on the roof above the library, fumes, noise and sparks prompted Dean Barbara Bardes to close the library for four hours. The library will also be closed during Spring Break while it moves a temporary location across the hall.
The Library is expected to remain in its temporary location throughout Spring Quarter and will return to its present location during Summer Quarter after renovations to the area.
